Mistakes Are Often Covered By Insurance

SERVPRO of The Woodlands/Conroe technicians recently did a job for an older couple who had a flooded kitchen. It is unfortunate to have a bad memory which happens with old age. Sometimes the bad memory will cause a mistake costing thousands of dollars.

This poor couple were doing chores around the home and yard in usual fashion. The spouse had started filling the sink to soak some clothes before placing them in the wash. Upon starting the water her husband asked for a hand with a chore outside. It wasn't until an hour later that she remembered turning on the water. She hurried in to turn off the water but it was too late, water was everywhere.

They called their insurance company with little hope of having their claim covered but to their delight it was covered. Mistakes are covered by insurance in most cases and this older couple were grateful for having been diligent in paying their premiums all these years.
