The event was the 15th annual and held at The Woodlands Marriott Hotel & Convention Center. The SERVPRO team participated in creating display pieces, encouraging community involvement, selling tickets and securing donations from local partner organizations to raise money for heart disease prevention and research.
The event focused on educating luncheon guests on preventative measures to reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke by promoting heart healthy diet and exercise lifestyle choices, raise awareness of preventative measures and raise funds to support research and education.
The luncheon was sponsored by The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce and the Montgomery County chapter of the American Heart Association. In 2017 the luncheon raised a record setting $922,000.
